一望無際的田野被林立的廠房阻斷，淳樸的景緻正在消失。工業的進駐帶來經濟產值，卻剝奪了本屬於鄉間的寧靜。基地位在自家後方緊鄰的家族紡織廠，近年來因為環境汙染問題即將停止營運；與此同時，附近正在規劃的產業園區引起當地居民強烈抗議，對居民來說工廠的存在無疑是侵害家鄉淨土的原因之一。
以在地人也是工廠方的身分切入，將工廠角色再定義，以開放工廠的形式重新建立與當地之間的關係，試圖在工廠和常民生活中找尋新的可能性。把日常生活納入工廠，讓鄉間田野滲透至基地內，結合廠房系統延伸設計出一系列體驗空間，引導人們走進工廠，深入了解工廠背後的運作模式；並將基地內除了廠房以外的場域，提供社區鄰里作聚會場所與休閒空間。
The endless fields are blocked by numerous factory buildings, and the simple scenery is disappearing. The presence of industry has brought economic output value, but it has deprived the countryside of the tranquility that belongs to it.
The family-owned textile factory located directly behind the home has been about to cease operations due to environmental pollution problems in recent years. At the same time, the industrial park being planned nearby has caused strong protests from local residents. For the residents, the existence of the factory is undoubtedly an infringement of the pure land of their hometown. one of the reasons.
As a local and a factory owner, we redefine the role of the factory, re-establish the relationship with the local area in the form of an open factory, and try to find new possibilities in the factory and the lives of ordinary people. Incorporate daily life into the factory, let the rural fields penetrate into the base, and design a series of experience spaces combined with the extension of the factory system to guide people into the factory and gain an in-depth understanding of the operation mode behind the factory; and make the fields in the base other than the factory buildings, Provide community gathering places and leisure spaces for neighbors.
